If you missed the live broadcast on Mornings with Drew Bailey, hit play below to catch up on this month’s Meow Factor segment with our friends at NEKO Cat Cafe! Rae and Drew Bailey are not only showcasing the showcasing the fairest maiden of the cat room but also an ultra-chatty adoptable feline, who could be a future friend to you!

This Septempurr, the adoptable cat of the month is Chicken Nugget! Described as a “funny little guy” who is a “clown dressed as a cat dressed as a clown” by his staff, Chicken Nugget is a man of contridictions.

He desperately wants to be held like a little baby, and sometimes, he’d rather die than be held like a little baby. His name is Chicken Nugget, and we suspect he may have a chicken allergy. He loves long baths on the fluffy mats in the cat room and attention when he declares that it’s allowed. He’s strawberry blonde, but he’s the epitome of an orange cat. Chicken Nugget would do best in a home without little kids as he’s a bit fussy, but he’d be okay with other friendly kitties and will happily be somepawdy’s very best furiend! Plus, the kid loves to chat.

Wanna meet Chicken Nugget? Come on into NEKO Bellingham and ask for the 1-piece!

But Mr. Nugget is not the only cat capturing attention this month…

NEKO’s September 2026 Cat of the Month is Chloe!

Mirror, mirror on the wall… Chloe is the roundest of them all! The Cat Room’s fairest maiden is the softest, kindest purrincess we know. Her big sweet eyes and sing-song meows are nearly overshadowed by her lovely purrsonality.  When she’s not watching mouse videos on the royal tablet (iPad), Chloe spends her days lounging with her bonded pauper, Ringo, singing to local fauna (street pigeons and humans), and politely charming her callers!

Her adorable pin features Chloe in her fairy tale garb with her trusty pigeon dressing her to chase a ball!
