Our Non-Profit Board

A little guidance is welcome

The KNHC Public Radio Association supports and provides strategic guidance for educational opportunities, a viable brand, and state-of-the-art facilities that enable students to develop 21st-century job skills while providing high-energy dance music to the listening community.

The Board of Directors meets in-person on a quarterly basis with additional virtual meetings as needed. Each Board term is three years with the opportunity to run for a second term.

Want to join the board?

Each Board member is expected to:

  • Be passionate about the mission and vision of DANCE89.5
  • Support fundraising efforts (directly and indirectly, via your personal network)
  • Support community outreach efforts (assist with station events)
  • Bring some hard skills (fundraising, business management, finance, governance)
  • Be willing to collaborate and work as a team to achieve Board/Station goals
  • Attend at least 75% of all meetings
  • Serve actively on at least one committee
  • Make a personal financial contribution to support KNHC Public Radio
