DANCE 89.5 members understand how important donations are for sustaining our music and student programs: over 90% of our operating funds come from the community. But now, more than ever, it’s vital that everyone who values our service step up to support it.

There’s a way you can encourage other listeners to do their part, too… Contribute to the New Member Matching Fund.

The New Member Matching Fund gives listeners who are on the fence that extra little incentive to cross over and become DANCE 89.5 members.

You’ve probably heard a match during a pledge drive. It’s pretty simple. At critical points during the drive, we offer listeners the chance to have their donation doubled with money from the Matching Fund, helping meet or exceed the funding goal before time runs out. For people who’ve never donated to DANCE 89.5, a match can be the key motivator to finally becoming a member.

Your donation to the matching fund means your investment goes further.

Because your contribution encourages others to give, your donation is amplified in impact. In 2022, on average, for every $1000 donated to the Matching Fund an additional $1760 was raised. That adds up to more money for the music you love and for the educational programs our students rely on.
