At DANCE 89.5, our community of supporters includes groovers of all species. This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on our Pet Member of the Month: a very sleek, extremely stylish and bread loving tuxedo cat named Tao!

Tao officially joined the DANCE 89.5 family when his human signed him up at our $5 monthly Pet Member level and he’s been keeping the beat in his living room ever since.

When he’s not busy chasing lasers, hunting down his favorite toys, or demanding treats, Tao is a true music connoisseur. His favorite station routine? Curling up with his human to tune into Color Theory for those deep, atmospheric electronic soundscapes.

Of course, every icon has a quirk. Tao’s funniest habit? An absolute, unfiltered obsession with bread. If there’s an unattended loaf on the counter, Tao will waste zero time opening up the package to claim his carb tax!

Our Pet Members help keep independent, listener-supported radio alive in the Pacific Northwest. For just $5 a month, you can enroll your dog, cat, bird, or reptile into the DANCE 89.5 crew, score fun station perks, and get a chance to see them featured right here on the blog!
