Our very first Summer Fund Drive as DANCE 89.5  is in the book and thanks to this incredible community, we didn’t just hit our goal… we crushed it!

To say this drive exceeded our wildest expectations is an understatement. You proved that independent, community-backed dance radio in Seattle is alive, thriving, and louder than ever.

The momentum started before we even went live. Our listeners rallied to bring in over $20,000 before the drive officially kicked off, which allowed us to shave two full days off our campaign and focus on the music!

We welcomed a wave of brand-new sustaining members to the DANCE 89.5 family, and we can’t wait to see everyone out in the city repping our very first DANCE 89.5 T-Shirt!

To top it all off, we closed out the drive with an unforgettable finale on July 31st: an 18-hour live DJ marathon featuring 14 of the Northwest’s best local selectors throwing down in our studios from 6:00 AM to Midnight.
